Sin is failure. Missing the mark. Not being in God’s goodness. Our lives get marked with shame.
Genesis 2:25
Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame

Our knowledge is distorted by sin
How do we diagnose our own shame and regret?
God knows our hearts
Uncleanness. Spiritual, required a priest to make clean. Priests represented God’s cleansing touch.
Jesus took our shame on himself. He lived in human shame.

God desires to create a new person. Removes the dynamics of shame, also.
